Newsletter – Summer Term

Dear Parents,

We hope you are all well and had a lovely Easter break.

We all had a wonderful time in our Easter Bonnet Parade and Egg Hunt and the children all looked fantastic in their hats. We raised nearly £300 on our tombola and cake stall. Thanks to all those parents who came along and donated. Our children really appreciate your support and love to see you at Cylch..

Our theme this half term will be “People Who Help Us “. We will be having some exciting visitors and also enjoying our outdoor area especially our amazing mud kitchen and Forest school.

Smarties Tubes
The Easter Bunny left some Smarties for all our lovely children. Could we ask that as part of our fundraising that you help the children fill up the empty tubes with coins and return them to cylch? Your help with this would be very much appreciated.

Could all children make a puppet to coincide with our theme of People who Help us? We will be using them in our reading area as part of our role play and language development. Please bring them in from Monday 24th onwards. There are lots of simple ideas on the internet for you to look at with the children
We have been asked by the Welsh Government to pilot the new ICT curriculum for nurseries across the whole of Wales . If possible could you take a picture of your child looking for ideas or making the puppet. We will be showing the Education Minister all our clever children working hard at home and in cylch.

Ti a Fi
Every Thursday afternoon from 1- 2.45pm. Cylch staff are running a mother and baby/toddler group. This is a lovely opportunity to meet other mums, dads and carers, have a cuppa ,sing and play .Please spread the word. It has proven very popular and there is a warm welcome waiting for you.

Cylch Sessions/ Wraparound September 2017
We have a few spaces in cylch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Please see staff if you want extra sessions.
Also we are starting to take names for wraparound for the next academic year. Please see Mrs Loveluck or Mrs Young for more information.

Please do not park in the Bowls Club or Little Cherubs . Please help us stay friends with our neighbours. The chairman has informed us that clamps will be used if people park illegally. The bowling season is now in full swing and your car will be blocked in.

Uniforms, coats and bags.
Please could all coats and bags be clearly labelled. Also the children will need a bag of clothes to change clearly labelled..As the weather improves we will be selling our cylch hats and water bottles daily . Please could you also ensure that all children have suncream applied before they attend each session.

Dropping off
As part of our preparations for school , we are encouraging parents to drop off the children at the door and not come into the foyer. We also ask that you practice putting on coats and recognizing bags ,hats and scarves with your child. Also can we ask that toys and comforters are not brought into cylch .We cannot be responsible for them and there are lots of lovely toys to keep our children occupied.

Please keep up to date on our facebook page for 2016/2017. There is a lot of useful information and lots of lovely photos.

As always if you have any queries please do not hesitate to speak to Mrs. Loveluck or Mrs.Young at the end of the session.
Many Thanks as always for your support..
